REGISTERED PHARMACY TECH II (Inpatient) (Full-Time)

Skills/Experience Required:

In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Assists and supports the Pharmacy Department with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals. Performs duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.

Skills/Experience Required:

a). High School Diploma or the equivalent.

b). One year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting.

c). Required Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License

d). Preferred PTCB Certification.
