Our pharmacy is looking to hire a Certified Pharmacy Technician to aid in the daily operations of the pharmacy. Candidates must be familiar with local, state and federal requirements for the delivery of pharmaceutical care. This position requires patient interaction and the successful candidates will have a friendly personality, experience working with customers, and a commitment to following safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the importance of reviewing state regulations, preparing and maintaining records and files, and learning new technology.
• Identify and assess pharmaceutical tasks and operations that require supervision or consultation.
• Research drugs, rate their cost, and assist in recommending drug therapies to physicians.
• Transport drugs through the distribution channel to the retail pharmacy.
• Communicate with pharmacists regarding complaints concerning prescription drugs.
• Operate computer software associated with pharmacy management.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
