Registered Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and retail pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, including intake documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes in critical care environments.
• Stay updated on medication administration guidelines and pharmacy regulations.
• Participate in inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary.

Experience

• 3-5 years of Experience as a Retail Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Experience with Prime Rx software is a Plus
• Familiarity with medical terminology and acute care practices is essential.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and care are required.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
