Registered Respiratory Therapist - FVH
- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
- This role collaborates with hospital personnel to deliver responsive, state-of-the-art, and patient-centered respiratory care, as well as a range of diverse outpatient services. The individual works closely with multidisciplinary teams in a cooperative and supportive manner to ensure high-quality outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
- Experience:
- Six months Staff Therapist experience preferred but not required
- Education and Training:
- Graduate of AMA approved program of Respiratory Therapy at the Registry level.
- License, Certification & Registration:
- NBRCRR - National Board Respiratory Care RRT
- MARTL - MA Respiratory Therapist license
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
- CPR
- Other Requirements:
- Highly effective and positive interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Effective problem solving and team building skills
- Willingness to participate in the education process both as a student and provider of education.
- Ability to vary shift hours and days to meet schedule needs.
