This role collaborates with hospital personnel to deliver responsive, state-of-the-art, and patient-centered respiratory care, as well as a range of diverse outpatient services. The individual works closely with multidisciplinary teams in a cooperative and supportive manner to ensure high-quality outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
Experience:
Six months Staff Therapist experience preferred but not required
Education and Training:
Graduate of AMA approved program of Respiratory Therapy at the Registry level.
License, Certification & Registration:
NBRCRR - National Board Respiratory Care RRT
MARTL - MA Respiratory Therapist license
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
CPR
Other Requirements:
Highly effective and positive interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
Effective problem solving and team building skills
Willingness to participate in the education process both as a student and provider of education.
Ability to vary shift hours and days to meet schedule needs.
