Location: Cody, WY
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details

• Night Shift (Block Schedule): 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Compensation

• Weekly Pay Range: $2000 – $2400 (Based on experience)

Job Summary

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for delivering comprehensive respiratory care, performing diagnostic procedures, and supporting clinical decision-making for patients requiring respiratory therapy.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Provide respiratory care treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Perform patient assessments and recommend appropriate therapies
• Administer inhaled medications and medical gases
• Operate and manage respiratory equipment including:
  • Ventilators
  • Oxygen delivery systems
  • Vapotherm devices
  • PAP devices

Diagnostics & Procedures

• Perform arterial, capillary, and venous blood draws
• Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
• Perform EKGs as ordered

Documentation & Compliance

• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and care plans
• Ensure physician orders are correctly entered in the EMR system
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and procedures
• Record procedures, medications, and equipment usage

Collaboration & Support

• Act as a clinical resource for respiratory care
• Assist with treatment planning and clinical decision-making
• Review patient charts and medical history prior to treatment
• Work independently during night shifts

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform night shift–specific duties as assigned
• Ensure accurate documentation of critical values and procedures
• Adhere to all organizational policies and standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Active state license (required at submission)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
