Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with strong NICU and L&D experience to support a pediatric-focused acute care environment. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients, primarily in Labor & Delivery and NICU settings, with flexibility to support PICU and pediatric acute care units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy for neonatal and pediatric patients
• Support Labor & Delivery with neonatal resuscitation and respiratory care
• Manage ventilators and airway support in NICU/PICU settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient response and adjust therapy as needed
• Document all care and maintain compliance with clinical standards
• Float to PICU and pediatric acute care units as required

Requirements:

• Active Indiana Respiratory Therapist license (required at submission)
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• NRP certification (required for L&D; may obtain after offer if not currently held)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
• Recent Children’s Hospital experience within the last 3 years (preferred)
• Strong experience in Labor & Delivery respiratory care

Preferred Qualifications:

• PALS certification
• Experience in Level 1 adult or pediatric facilities
