  • Prepare and organize the sterile field with surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring all items are readily available and correctly arranged for each surgical procedure.
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including biometric screenings and health risk evaluations, to identify individual health needs and risks.
  • Develop and implement personalized wellness plans, setting realistic goals and providing tailored interventions to promote healthy behaviors.
  • Provide health education and counseling on topics such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, and disease prevention, empowering individuals to make informed choices.
  • Facilitate wellness programs and workshops, creating engaging and interactive sessions to foster a culture of health and well-being within the organization.
  • Monitor and track participant progress, providing ongoing support and encouragement to help individuals achieve their wellness goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, employee assistance programs, and other resources to ensure a coordinated approach to employee health.
  • Administer vaccinations and other preventative health services, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Analyze health data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform the development of new wellness initiatives.
  • Promote a positive and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of health and well-being among employees.
  • Anticipate the surgeon's needs by proactively providing instruments and supplies during surgery, demonstrating a keen understanding of surgical procedures and their associated instrumentation.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure, adhering strictly to aseptic techniques to prevent surgical site infections and ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses, to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Account for all surgical instruments, sponges, and sharps, meticulously counting before and after each procedure to prevent retained items.
  • Assist the surgical team with gowning and gloving, and other tasks, providing support and assistance as needed throughout the surgery.
  • Manage and care for surgical specimens, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and delivery to the pathology department for analysis.
