JOB DESCRIPTION

Capitol View Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art true transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital (we are part of the HealthPartners organization as a separate nonprofit organization.) We provide quality care to patients from 18+ years of age who are in need of a short-term stay. Our average length of stay is 17 days. As an Rehab Aide, you will be responsible for the following job duties and responsibilities:

  • Transporting patients scheduled for PT, OT, and ST to and from treatments areas.
  • Assist with patient related physical, occupational, and speech therapy duties and tasks under the on-site supervision of the therapist following therapy association guideline.
  • Follow safety standards while preforming patient related duties i.e. good body mechanics, transfer belt, correct transfer procedures, and comply with patient precautions
  • Notifies therapist of any resident related problems.
  • Assist professional staff as requested
  • Preforms assigned clerical duties: filing, copying, mailing, scheduling, equipment ordering, and timely preparation of charts and assist with maintenance of department records
  • prepares, maintains, and cleans department/treatment areas.
  • Assist with leisure activities with patients.


FTE:
1.0 (40 hours per week)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8-4:30pm

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility or TCU environment preferred

    Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
