Rehabilitation Technician

Hillside Medical Lodge is seeking a Rehab Tech to support our physical and occupational therapy teams. This role is designed for the clinician ready to advance their skillset under experienced leadership. You will gain in-depth experience in a skilled nursing and post-hospital rehabilitation environment without needing a professional license. It is an ideal entry-point for those planning a future in nursing or therapy services.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay: $15-17/hour.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Transport and supervise residents to and from therapy sessions.
• Prepare therapy gyms, treatment rooms, and equipment before sessions.
• Assist residents with non-therapeutic preparation.
• Monitor sessions and communicate observations to licensed staff.
• Obtain and document vital signs under supervision.
• Adjust wheelchairs and equipment for comfort and safety without physical contact.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas.
• Support therapists with scheduling and electronic documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Enrollment in or plans to pursue PT, OT, or Nursing strongly preferred.
• Good computer literacy with the ability to navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and maintain high-speed, accurate data entry.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
