- Handle customer transactions efficiently, with minimal errors and in accordance with the bank’s policies and procedures.
- Answer the telephone using MCB protocol. Warmly transfer calls when necessary.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of all bank products. Consistently identify customer needs and present solutions. Job Duties:
- Open new accounts for customers according to required policy with minimal errors.
- Enter account information into Navigator/BPM system.
- Answer telephone.
- Open mail and log transactions.
- Balance money orders.
- Open safe deposit vault and close at the end of the day.
- Check the after-hours voice mail and handle the calls or transfer them to correct person.
- Make changes to accounts as requested by the customer.
- Audit signature cards, debit cards and change forms from other RBs.
- Scan and file documents.
- Order checks and debit cards.
- Handle customer issues such as stop payments, debit card problems, account questions, and disputes.
- Set up, unlock, reset online banking, bill pay, mobile banking, reset VRU telephone banking passwords, print statements, set up automatic monthly transfers between accounts.
- Handle required minimum distributions for IRA account holders.
- Check report for any CD’s past maturity not on auto renew that need renewing.
- Maintenance of existing accounts: Change of address, phone number, adding or deleting a signer, closing accounts, closing debit cards and re-issue new card, stop payments, debit card fraud and account fraud.
- Assist with Teller duties when needed.
- Complete assigned training by the required deadline.
- Other duties as assigned.
