Relationship Executive – Deposit Mobilisation (Current Accounts)

Job Purpose:
To mobilise low-cost deposits through Current Accounts by acquiring new-to-bank (NTB) individual, business, and corporate customers via regular market visits, relationship building, and targeted prospecting, while ensuring full compliance with UBL policies and SBP regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deposit Mobilisation & Market Visits:
- Conduct daily market visits to identify and approach potential individuals, traders, SMEs, and corporate clients for Current Account opening.
- Source New-to-Bank (NTB) Current Account relationships through direct selling, referrals, and business networking.
- Identify high-potential business areas, commercial hubs, and corporate clusters to generate sustainable deposit inflows.
- Convince prospects to route their business transactions and cash flows through UBL Current Accounts.
2. Current Account Acquisition:
- Open Individual, Business, and Corporate Current Accounts strictly in line with UBL’s product scope.
- Clearly explain account features, charges, minimum balance requirements, and transaction benefits to clients.
- Ensure timely completion of account opening documentation, KYC, and verification requirements.
- Follow up with prospects until successful account activation and initial deposit placement.
3. Portfolio Growth & Target Achievement:
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual deposit mobilisation targets.
- Focus on building quality deposit balances rather than dormant or low-value accounts.
- Monitor account activity post-onboarding to ensure transactional usage and balance retention.
4. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with individual, business, and corporate clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for newly onboarded Current Account customers.
- Coordinate with branch teams to address customer service issues and ensure smooth banking operations.
5. Reporting & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate daily market visit logs, pipeline reports, and sales performance updates.
- Ensure full compliance with UBL policies, AML/KYC requirements, and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
- Submit complete and error-free documentation to avoid audit, compliance, or operational issues.

- Deposit volume mobilised through Current Accounts
- Active account ratio
- Market visits and conversion rate
- Compliance and documentation accuracy
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification: Graduation
- Experience: 1 Year field sales experience is mandatory
- Gender: Male
- Good understanding of business market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up abilities
- Target-driven mindset with comfort in outdoor/market-based work
