As a Reliability Test Engineer, you will contribute directly to this legacy by pushing our devices to the limits of their performance, and ensuring they meet the exceptional reliability and durability standards our products are known for. In this role you will help execute and oversee reliability testing in our state-of-the-art labs. You will contribute to a collaborative lab environment while managing multiple projects to meet critical deadlines, review reliability test plans, execute tests, collect data, and share your analysis with Apple's Reliability Engineers. You will support building the lab’s testing capabilities, outline the testing methods, and focus on the details to ensure day-to-day activities run efficiently.

Description
Collaborate with Apple engineers to perform reliability tests across a range of Apple products, ensuring adherence to technical standards and tight project timelines
Report test results and engage in discussions with cross-functional teams regarding findings and challenges
Oversee lab equipment, including calibration and maintenance procedures
Contribute to innovation and support the development of new testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in an engineering discipline with direct experience setting up or working in new labs and facilities
Prior experience with reliability testing and a willingness to work hands-on
Experience operating environmental chambers, drop testers, tensile testers, vibration testers, optical microscopes, camera setups and multimeters
Excel at processing and summarizing data, with experience supporting data system setup
Ability to effectively drive multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
Dynamic with a “can-do” attitude and a passion to deliver groundbreaking technologies ensuring exceptional customer experience
A collaborative spirit, with experience working effectively with diverse teams
Willingness to travel domestically or internationally
Prior experience in the consumer electronics industry or familiarity with Apple products, programs, and/or processes is highly desirable

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years relevant experience, with Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. materials engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering etc)
Experience in reliability testing or conducting experiments in a laboratory setting
Professional fluency in English, excellent verbal/written communication skills and presentation skills","internalDetails":null,"eeoContent":null
