Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, culturally sensitive, and highly organized Religious Travel Consultant to lead our faith-based travel portfolios. In this crucial role, you will take complete ownership of Hajj and Umrah operations—designing, booking, and executing comprehensive group and individual pilgrimage itineraries.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in religious tourism, exceptional operational fluency in major Global Distribution Systems (Sabre and Galileo), deep familiarity with Saudi travel regulations, and professional Arabic communication skills to coordinate directly with hospitality and transport partners in the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pilgrimage Package Management & Booking

  • End-to-end planning, structuring, and execution of premium and economy Hajj, Umrah, and Ziyarat packages for both individual and large group travels.
  • Secure premium hotel reservations in Makkah, Madinah, and transit cities, ensuring accommodations align precisely with the specifications of the booked package.
  • Arrange seamless ground transportation, local transfers, and guided tour logistics (Muallim coordination) for pilgrims.

2. Ticketing & GDS Operations

  • Use Global Distribution Systems (Sabre and Galileo) with high efficiency to book, issue, reissue, split, and cancel domestic and international flight tickets.
  • Monitor airline updates, group block bookings, seasonal fare promotions, and routing shifts to deliver highly cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate group check-ins, transit logistics, and baggage policies with major domestic and international airlines.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Client Advisory

  • Serve as a compassionate and expert advisor, guiding pilgrims step-by-step through visa application processes, vaccination mandates, biometric verifications, and Saudi Ministry of Hajj & Umrah portals.
  • Lead pre-departure briefing sessions for families and groups, explaining itinerary structures, hotel locations, ritual processes, and essential safety guidelines.
  • Actively monitor and implement updates to Saudi travel regulations, entry requirements, and regional municipal codes.

4. Vendor & KSA Liaison Operations

  • Maintain and expand commercial relationships with local service agents, hospitality providers, transport companies, and Destination Management Companies (DMCs) based in Saudi Arabia.
  • Coordinate with the group finance division at Skillston Pvt Ltd to manage timely payments, international remittances, refundable guarantees, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for travelers to resolve sudden scheduling changes, medical emergencies, or transport issues with empathy and professionalism.

Job Skills & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism, Business Administration, Hospitality, Arabic Studies, or a closely related field (Preferred).
  • Experience: At least 5 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in ticketing and operational logistics specifically within Hajj and Umrah tourism (Required).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Exceptional, verified proficiency in Sabre and Galileo ticketing systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of current Saudi visa platforms, portals, and online pilgrimage booking systems.
  • Basic computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel) for managing pilgrim data sheets and generating clean travel quotes.
  • Language Proficiency:
  • Arabic: Strong verbal and written working proficiency (Direct negotiation with Saudi vendors is a regular requirement) (Required).
  • Urdu: Native speaker level (Required).
  • English: Professional level (Written and Verbal) (Required).
  • Soft Skills:
  • High level of empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence, with a deep respect for religious values and the patience to guide elderly pilgrims.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail to ensure perfect accuracy in passport details, visa applications, and transport schedules.
  • Strong crisis management skills to gracefully navigate travel delays, health issues, or booking complications.
