Overview

TraVek Remodeling & Roofing is hiring a Remodeling Designer who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and turning ideas into buildable plans.

This role is not just about creativity—it’s about accuracy, functionality, and execution.

You’ll take a client’s vision and transform it into a fully developed, detailed, and construction-ready design, working closely with both the client and the sales team.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct post-retainer design consultations with clients
• Deep dive into project scope, goals, and functional needs
• Develop layout concepts and space plans
• Ensure designs are buildable, accurate, and aligned with budget
• Guide clients through material and finish selections, including:
• Cabinetry
• Countertops
• Tile
• Plumbing fixtures
• Flooring
• Lighting
• Create detailed drawings and plans using design software
• Develop complete scope of work and specifications
• Partner with the Sales Consultant to present and finalize projects
• Collaborate with production to ensure smooth project handoff

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of remodeling or interior design experience
• Strong expertise in kitchen, bath, or whole-home remodeling design
• Proficiency in design software (Chief Architect, 2020, SketchUp, or similar)
• Advanced space planning and layout skills
• Deep knowledge of materials, finishes, and product selections
• Highly detail-oriented with strong technical accuracy
• Organized, structured, and able to manage multiple projects
