Remote Accountant

About the Role:

Milltex and RZ, growing U.S.-based garment importer and wholesale businesses, are looking for an experienced and highly organized Remote Accountant. In this role, you will manage our full-cycle accounting, payroll, and e-commerce financials. The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks, Odoo ERP, and the unique financial workflows of both wholesale import and e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and account for all incoming payments (check deposits, wire transfers, EFTs, etc.).
• Set up and process outgoing payments via our Bill Payment Management System, ensuring all vendor bills are paid accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers within QuickBooks and Odoo ERP.

Payroll & Contractor Management

• Process weekly payroll for internal employees, accurately handling all bonus allocations and deductions.
• Manage monthly payments for overseas contractors, tracking and accounting for leaves and performance bonuses.

E-commerce & Import Accounting

• Manage daily e-commerce accounting and reconciliation across multiple sales channels, specifically Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Shopify.
• Handle and organize customs documentation for all imported freight shipments to ensure accurate landed cost tracking.

Reporting & Analysis

• Generate monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and comprehensive management reports.
• Provide detailed sales analysis to assist leadership in forecasting and decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accountant, Full-Charge Bookkeeper, or similar role.
• Mandatory overlap with US EST working hours.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Odoo ERP.
• Direct experience handling accounting for e-commerce platforms (Amazon, TikTok, Shopify).
• Familiarity with inventory, wholesale, and import/customs accounting.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage strict payment and payroll deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
