Remote Accountant & Financial Controller

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Accountant & Financial Controller to join our finance team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and is vital in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software platforms and possess strong analytical skills to support our company's financial health and growth.

Duties

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform account reconciliations regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct detailed account analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility across departments.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data for management review.
• Support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.

Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable management, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Experience with account analysis and budgeting processes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and organization.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external auditors.
• Prior experience as a Financial Controller or similar role is preferred but not required.

Pay: E£10,000.00 - E£20,000.00 per month
