Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our dedicated team at TauRx Therapeutics. This is a remote position, and we are open to considering candidates for both part-time and full-time roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of our payment processes. Job Title: Remote Accounts Payable Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 USD per hour



Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, from invoice receipt and verification to payment execution.

• Ensure all supplier invoices are processed accurately and paid in a timely manner, adhering to company policies.

• Maintain and reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all liabilities are accurately recorded.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor enquiries, building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues promptly.

• Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and reconciliations related to accounts payable.

• Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function.

• Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with the company's travel and expense policy.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal controls.



Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience working as an Accounts Payable Manager or in a similar senior accounts payable role.

• A strong understanding of accounting principles and the full procure-to-pay cycle.

• High proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems, along with MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• A self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.

• A relevant qualification in accounting or finance would be highly regarded.
