Job Overview

Colaval, a leading manufacturer specialising in high-quality control valves and water treatment solutions, is seeking a meticulous and organised Remote Billing Clerk to join our finance team. This is a Full-Time, fully remote position based in the United States. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our billing processes, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of invoicing for our diverse range of industrial products and services. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail who thrives in a remote work environment. The offered compensation for this role is between $45 - $60 USD per hour.

Responsibilities

As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks critical to our financial operations. Your primary duties will include:

* Creating and issuing accurate invoices to our customers in a timely manner.
* Reviewing sales orders and other documentation to ensure billing accuracy.
* Collaborating with sales and logistics departments to resolve any billing discrepancies or customer enquiries.
* Maintaining and updating customer accounts and billing records with precision.
* Tracking payment statuses and assisting with the accounts receivable process.
* Preparing regular reports on billing activities and financial data for management review.
* Assisting with month-end closing procedures and other financial administration tasks as required.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

* Proven experience working as a Billing Clerk, Accounts Assistant, or in a similar financial role.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with MS Excel.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
* The ability to work independently and maintain high performance in a remote setting.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with accounting software is highly desirable.
* A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or business administration would be an advantage.
