Remote Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Purpose
UCP Heartland is seeking a Remote Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Autism Services team. This role provides virtual clinical oversight, supervision, and support for clients and behavior technicians implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs. The BCBA ensures ethical, evidence-based treatment through telehealth assessments, program development, data-driven analysis, and collaboration with caregivers and team members across multiple service locations.
Essential Job Functions

Serve as a liaison between UCP Heartland, families, community partners, therapists, and healthcare professionals.

Conduct functional behavior assessments, skills assessments, and preference assessments via secure telehealth platforms.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed for remote delivery.

Provide virtual supervision, performance feedback, and ongoing training to RBTs and behavior technicians in compliance with BACB standards.

Collaborate with the Lead BCBA to ensure RBT supervision hours align with BACB’s 5% supervision standard.

Deliver caregiver training and support through telehealth to promote skill generalization and family engagement.

Review and analyze client data to assess progress and make data-driven program modifications.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, including session notes and progress reports.

Ensure adherence to BACB ethical guidelines, HIPAA requirements, and telehealth service regulations.

Attend administrative meetings and fulfill utilization management requirements to ensure clients receive recommended services.

Manage a virtual caseload efficiently while meeting agency and payer requirements for billable hours.

Minimum Employment Standards
-
Master’s Degree or higher in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.

Eligible for licensure in the State of Missouri as a Behavior Analyst.

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience providing ABA services; remote supervision experience preferred.

Strong understanding of evidence-based ABA methodologies and program design.

Knowledge of insurance practices within the medical model.

Proficient in data collection, graphing, and analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must pass background and reference checks.

Familiarity with BACB ethics, HIPAA, and telehealth regulations.

Preferred Employment Standards

Two or more years of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Experience supervising and mentoring RBTs and BCBA candidates.

Familiarity with telehealth-based assessment, training, and service delivery models.

Proficiency in electronic data systems such as CentralReach.

Active Missouri Behavior Analyst license.
