Position Summary

The Remote Catering Sales Manager is responsible for generating, contracting, planning and overseeing group and conference business for the Alexandria resort, from a remote base in Dubai/UAE. This role focuses on identifying group/transient opportunities, negotiating contracts, maximizing F&B and function space revenue, and coordinating with on-site operations to ensure seamless delivery. The position demands initiative, strong sales & planning acumen, excellent remote communication and ability to work across time zones.

Scope of Work

A. Sales & Business Development Responsibilities

 Proactively solicit, secure, and book weddings, social events, local banquets, meetings,

and catering business.

 Develop and maintain relationships with wedding planners, community groups,

businesses, and event partners.

 Conduct virtual site visits and prepare customized proposals.

 Negotiate sales and catering contracts in compliance with Company policies.

 Meet or exceed defined sales and booking goals tied to revenue targets and event volume.

 Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, CRM activity logs, and weekly updates.

B. Event Detailing & Planning Responsibilities

 Serve as the primary planning and detailing contact for all events, including the groups / events assigned by the Sales team.

 Conduct pre-event planning calls to finalize menus, décor, AV requirements, timelines,

and room layouts.

 Prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and distribute them internally to

Banquets, Culinary, Operations, and other departments.

 Ensure all details are communicated clearly and updated in a timely manner.

 Manage the event handoff and ensure seamless execution through clear communication

and coordination.

 Provide remote presence during events to ensure quality and client satisfaction.

C. Client Relations Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional hospitality, courtesy, and professional communication.

 Respond to all inquiries promptly and maintain client communication throughout the

sales cycle.

 Conduct post-event follow-ups to verify satisfaction, correct any issues, send Thank-you notes, and generate referrals and repeat bookings.

 Maintain a professional, positive representation of Arrowwood at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Catering Sales or Planning within a resort/hotel environment
  • Proven track record of achieving group/conference revenue targets, negotiating contracts and closing deals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong remote-working skills: self‐motivated, disciplined, excellent at virtual communication (phone, email, video conference).
  • Proficiency in Sales & Catering systems (e.g., Opera S&C, Delphi), CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and capacity to interpret sales/financial reports.
  • Good analytical skills: ability to read and understand market data, lead conversion metrics, forecast revenue, identify yield opportunities.
  • Good negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including late evenings and nights to match US time zone overlaps.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work across international teams and cultural contexts.

Compensation & Benefits (UAE Market Adaptation)

  • Salary Range: AED 10,000 – 12,000/month (depending on experience) + performance-based incentives/commission tied to group revenue targets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of group leads generated and qualified.
  • Conversion rate from lead → contract.
  • Number of group room nights booked and actualized.
  • Group meeting/function revenue achieved (rooms + F&B + ancillary).
  • Average rate (room and function) vs budget/target.
  • Client satisfaction / repeat business from group clients.
  • Timeliness of reporting and accuracy of forecasts.
  • Remote work reliability: responsiveness, communication, team-collaboration.

Working Hours

  • Flexible remote shifts (typically covering 8-9 hour schedules)
  • Evening and overnight shifts to align with U.S. Central Time (CST).
  • Weekend and public holiday rotation as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
