Remote Claims Support Specialist

Location: Fully Remote, Work from Home (including during training)

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm EST

Starting Pay: $18.75 per hour

We’re looking for a compassionate, organized Veterans Claims Support Specialist to guide veterans through their disability claims. You don’t need prior VA experience — we’ll train you. What we need is someone responsive, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent client service. When you succeed in this role, veterans feel informed, supported, and confident about their next steps.

The Remote Veterans Claims Support Specialist Responsibilities Include:

• Be a trusted partner for your clients by serving as their main point of contact throughout the process.
• Deliver responsive, reliable service by returning calls and emails promptly and consistently.
• Turn complex updates into clear guidance by explaining claim status and next steps in simple terms.
• Break down important documents by reviewing decision letters and helping clients understand what they mean.
• Strengthen cases from the inside out by gathering key medical and personal information.
• Guide clients through paperwork by helping them complete and submit required forms with confidence.
• Keep cases moving forward by following up to collect missing documents and signatures.
• Coordinate key appointments by scheduling exams or meetings related to claims when needed.
• Stay organized and proactive by maintaining accurate, up-to-date case files and providing regular updates.
• Any and all other duties needed to serve our clients & mission

Now you might be wondering about the pay? The Remote Veterans Claims Support Specialist starting pay rate is $18.75 per hour. For this position, you receive a performance appraisal EVERY SIX MONTHS! That’s right! You will always know how you’re doing with your performance. And do you know what else? If you score well on your performance review, you will get a 50 to 90 cent increase every 6 months until you reach the cap of the pay range.
