Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
 

• Collecting, interpreting, and analysing data from various sources, including sales, manufacturing, and supply chain systems.
• Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
• Identifying, analysing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets to provide clear business insights.
• Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to communicate key business metrics and findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborating with management and various departments to identify and prioritise business and information needs.
• Providing data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
• Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
 

• Proven experience working as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Strong technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL and a strong knowledge of reporting and data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS).
• A degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Experience within the manufacturing or industrial sector would be highly advantageous.
