Responsibilities
- Accurately input, update, and manage large volumes of data related to construction projects, including budgets, schedules, materials, and labour records.
- Perform regular database maintenance, data cleansing, and verification to ensure the highest level of accuracy and integrity across all systems.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for project managers and senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyse data to identify and correct discrepancies, resolving any inconsistencies by liaising with relevant departments.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams to gather and synthesise project information in a timely manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve data entry efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of all company, client, and project information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a demanding data entry or data management role, with a track record of handling complex datasets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas).
- Familiarity with database management systems or ERP software is essential; experience within the construction industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
