Overview
Montana Opportunity. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Family Law Attorney to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, including divorce, custody, support, and adoption matters. Responsibilities include client intake, client communications, drafting and reviewing pleadings, conducting legal research, managing client communications, preparing for hearings, and representing clients in virtual court proceedings where permitted. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive client matters with discretion and empathy are essential.

Our firm utilizes an online case management system that allows all staff to communicate and manage all cases internally without the need of a dedicated in office atmosphere. Other attorneys and staff are available to cover in person court hearings and client meetings when necessary.
This position offers the flexibility of working remotely while supporting clients with compassionate and effective legal advocacy. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the Montana Bar at the time of application to be considered for this position. Prior family law experience as an attorney is required for this position . We are looking for a professional who can work independently, manage deadlines efficiently, and contribute to a collaborative team environment committed to client-centered service. The Firm is responsible for obtaining clients, but this position requires the candidate to have access to a telephone to speak to clients and staff as well as computer and internet access for case management purposes, filings and email related tasks. Must be able to handle a new case from intake to finish including working knowledge of divorce, parenting plans, support calculations, etc.
