Remote IT Specialist - I

We are seeking a versatile IT Specialist to lead and manage technology operations for a growing business focused on smart home solutions.

Responsibilities include: overseeing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, supporting remote and in-office environments, managing software licenses and cloud platforms, providing technical support, developing IT policies, evaluating new technologies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring data backups and disaster recovery.
Qualifications: 4+ years in IT support or systems administration, with leadership experience; strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, Windows, Google Workspace, and endpoint management; excellent communication skills; based in Nashville, TN with occasional on-site travel.
Preferred skills: experience in small businesses or startups, familiarity with RMM tools, certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft), and project management experience.
