Duties

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments via telehealth platforms, utilizing EMR to document patient interactions accurately.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate psychotherapy techniques, and behavioral interventions aligned with best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide patient education on mental health conditions, medication adherence, and coping strategies to empower individuals in managing their wellness effectively.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes .

Requirements

• Valid Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist License.
• MSN degree required
• Proven experience in behavioral health settings with exposure to diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics.
• Experience working remotely using secure telehealth platforms; ability to manage patient caseloads efficiently in an outpatient or clinic setting.

• Virginia License Required; multiple licenses preferred
• Must be a licensed and Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist
• Flexible schedule
• This is not a RN position, must be an Advanced Practice Nurse

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
