Remote Math Teacher

The Position:

Zinkerz is currently seeking experienced educators to help teach our Test Prep Math classes for high school students.

The classes focus on Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 topics.

The one-on-one lessons will be conducted using Zinkerz learning materials in a virtual classroom.

The purpose of these classes is to close gaps in foundational understanding. Instructors will work with students over an extended period of time, building strong relationships to guide and manage their progress.

We offer flexible scheduling, and are especially interested in instructors who have availability during our high need hours Monday through Thursday between 4pm - 10pm EST.

Qualifications:

1+ year teaching experience, especially with high school math
Strong knowledge of Algebra and Geometry at the high school level
Comfortable using technology in the classroom - including Desmos.com/calculator
10+ available hours per week (ideally between 4–10 PM EST)
Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing one)
Outgoing, energetic, and responsive personality
