remote middle school math tutor

We are seeking a skilled and engaging middle school math teacher to work remotely with students in grades 6–8. We specialize in individualized, high-quality academic support and are looking for someone who can combine strong content knowledge with warmth, clarity, and professionalism.

This is a part-time remote position with flexible scheduling. Sessions are 50 minutes and typically ake place after school hours.

Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one virtual instruction in middle school math (including pre-algebra and algebra foundations)
Break down complex concepts in clear, step-by-step ways
Adapt lessons to meet students where they are academically and emotionally
Build strong rapport with students to increase confidence and engagement
Communicate consistently and professionally with parents
Provide brief written session summaries after lessons

Qualifications
Teaching certification required
Experience teaching or tutoring middle school math
Prior remote tutoring or online teaching experience required
Strong ability to build trust and positive relationships with students and parents
Comfortable using Zoom and shared digital tools
Reliable, organized, and responsive

Pay: $35.00 per hour
