Remote Network Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Network Support Engineer to remotely support and maintain the network infrastructure of our Bitcoin mining operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking principles and the unique demands of high-density mining environments, including ASIC hardware, remote diagnostics, and uptime optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain remote mining facility networks, ensuring stable and secure connections
• connect remotely through parsec or Anydesk and change settings on miners according to Gen charts
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues across multiple mining sites
• Support remote diagnostics for ASIC miners, firmware updates, and performance optimization
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Maintain network documentation and site schematics
• Collaborate with onsite technicians to resolve hardware and software issues
• Ensure network uptime and reliability to maximize mining efficiency

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in network support, preferably in a data center or mining environment
• Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, etc.)
• Experience with ASIC miners (e.g., Bitmain, WhatsMiner), mining software, and remote monitoring tools
• Familiarity with remote access and monitoring tools
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and communication skills
