Remote Odoo ERP Sales Consultant / Business Development Executive - PK

Cloudsaber is a UK-based Odoo Partner delivering ERP implementations for growing businesses across manufacturing, distribution and professional services.

We are hiring a commercially focused Odoo ERP Sales Consultant / Business Development Executive to run structured discovery calls, deliver Odoo product demonstrations, prepare proposals and quotes, and close new business.

You will be supported with qualified meetings and inbound enquiries. You will own opportunities from first conversation through to signed agreement and clean handover to delivery. The Managing Director will support larger or more complex opportunities where needed.

This is not an appointment-setting role. We are looking for someone who can speak confidently with directors and operational leaders, understand business problems, qualify opportunities properly and move suitable prospects towards a decision.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery calls with directors, finance leads, operations managers and business owners.
  • Confirm fit, priorities, current systems, buying intent, timeline, budget and decision process.
  • Deliver Odoo demonstrations aligned to real workflows, avoiding generic product tours.
  • Shape a high-level solution approach and document scope assumptions.
  • Prepare proposals and quotes using Cloudsaber templates and pricing guidance.
  • Manage follow-up, objections, negotiation and closing.
  • Protect margin and avoid uncontrolled scope creep.
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates, next steps and sales forecasts.
  • Produce clean internal handovers to delivery, including agreed scope, assumptions, risks and next actions.
  • Re-engage warm leads in the CRM using structured follow-up sequences when meeting volume is light.
  • Give feedback to SDRs on lead quality, objections and target market fit.

Requirements

  • Proven experience closing B2B software, SaaS, ERP, CRM, finance systems, operational software or IT services deals.
  • Comfortable running remote discovery calls and video meetings.
  • Confident communication and professional presence on video calls.
  • Strong discovery skills and commercial judgement.
  • Able to qualify properly before presenting a solution.
  • Comfortable presenting, handling objections and negotiating.
  • Disciplined pipeline management and follow-up habits.
  • Able to prepare clear proposals, quotes and next steps.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet working environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Odoo.
  • Experience selling ERP, CRM, SaaS or business management software.
  • Experience selling into UK businesses.
  • Experience working with SDRs or appointment setters.
  • Understanding of business workflows such as sales, CRM, finance, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, ecommerce, projects or reporting.

Odoo experience is helpful but not required. Product and process training will be provided.

What good looks like

A strong candidate will be able to take a qualified meeting and run a proper discovery call, understand the prospect’s current systems and business pain, explain Odoo in practical business terms, avoid jumping into a generic demo too early, follow up consistently, and close suitable opportunities while protecting margin and scope.

Compensation

This role includes a monthly base plus commission on closed deals.

The final structure will be agreed before starting and will reward quality, consistency and closed business.
