Remote Paralegal - Florida Litigation

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Paralegal specializing in Florida Litigation to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely. We are looking for a detail-oriented remote paralegal to support an active litigation docket in Florida state court. You will work directly with the supervising attorney on case preparation, drafting, filings, and client coordination. This is a substantive role, not administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, correspondence, and litigation support documents under attorney supervision
• Prepare and organize exhibits, deposition binders, and trial materials
• Conduct factual research and assist with case chronologies and timelines
• File documents through Florida e-filing portals and monitor court deadlines
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
• Maintain case files and deadline calendars using firm systems
• Assist with discovery organization, responses, and document review

Experience

• Proven paralegal experience supporting litigation cases within a law office setting or similar environment.
• Strong familiarity with Florida-specific litigation procedures and court systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams highly prefered.
• Experience with legal case management software such as MyCase is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence clearly and professionally.
• Proficiency in document review, proofreading, transcription, and data entry tasks with high accuracy standards.
• Effective interviewing skills for client intake or witness interviews to gather relevant case information.
• Knowledge of various practice areas including real estate, commercial lease, landlord-tenant, homeowner/condo association, is advantageous, but not mandatory.

Compensation

Competitive, commensurate with experience. This is a contract or part-time position with potential to grow.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
