Role Description

This is a part -time, hybrid role preferably based in Greater Houston (ideally Woodlands, TX), as a Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Chronic Care Management (CCM) Biller and Coder. The individual in this position will be responsible for accurately coding RPM and CCM services, preparing and submitting claims, verifying insurance information, resolving claim discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role includes collaboration with healthcare professionals to maintain accurate documentation and optimize reimbursement processes.

Qualifications

• United States based requirement.
• At least 10 years experience in coding and billing
• Proficiency in medical coding and billing, including CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Experience with remote patient monitoring (RPM) and chronic care management (CCM) billing (REQUIRED)
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification, claims submission, and reimbursement procedures
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and familiarity with healthcare compliance standards
• Effective communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
• Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic medical records systems and required to have experience with E-Clinical Works.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or a related certification is highly preferred
• Previous experience in billing and coding roles within the telehealth or healthcare field is an advantage
