Remote Procurement Buyer

We are currently seeking a diligent and experienced Remote Procurement Buyer to join our team. This is a full-time, fully remote position. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, and supplies essential for our business operations, ensuring we achieve the best value and quality. This role is crucial for optimising our operational efficiency and supporting our team of real estate professionals.

The offered compensation for this position is $21 - $34 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

* Identify and source potential suppliers for operational needs, including marketing materials, office supplies, and property-related services.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
* Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from creating purchase orders to verifying the delivery of goods and services.
* Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
* Conduct market research to stay informed about new products, industry trends, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement requirements and provide support.
* Maintain accurate and organised records of all purchases, supplier information, and contractual agreements.
* Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.

Qualifications

* Proven experience working as a Procurement Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or in a similar role.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* The ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with procurement software systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make sound, data-driven decisions.
* A degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
* Previous experience in the real estate or property management industry would be a significant advantage.
