Pay: $72,000- $102,000 (base) + performance bonuses / commission per successful subcontractor placed and activated (DOE – uncapped earning potential)

About the Role
Under new management and excited to grow rapidly, Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning is looking for an experienced Remote Recruiter to build and manage our nationwide network of reliable 1099 subcontractor cleaners and crews. If you’ve recruited and trained carpet cleaners, janitorial technicians, restoration crews, or similar home-service field teams before, this is your opportunity to work remotely while directly impacting service quality and helping us scale fast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and recruit experienced carpet cleaning technicians, full crews, and small cleaning businesses as independent subcontractors (1099).
  • Create and manage job postings on Indeed, Facebook groups, industry forums, Craigslist, and other platforms.
  • Screen applicants: conduct interviews, verify experience/certifications (e.g., IICRC), check references, insurance, and background.
  • Onboard new subcontractors: contracts, quality standards, scheduling tools, customer service protocols, and compliance.
  • Develop and deliver (or coordinate) training on our cleaning methods, safety procedures, equipment use, and customer expectations.
  • Build long-term relationships with subcontractors for retention, availability, and high performance.
  • Track recruiting metrics, maintain a strong talent pipeline, and collaborate with operations to match subs with jobs.

What We’re Looking For (Ideal Candidate)

  • 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with hands-on background in carpet cleaning, janitorial, restoration, or home services strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience recruiting and training carpet cleaners or similar technicians – this is a big plus!
  • Knowledge of 1099 subcontractors, independent contractor networks, and gig/trades staffing in cleaning or field services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills (you’ll be making outbound calls and overcoming objections).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working fully remote with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with job boards, Google Workspace, and basic recruiting tools (ATS/CRM experience a plus).
  • Bonus: Familiarity with carpet cleaning equipment, techniques, or IICRC standards.
