Remote Security Analyst Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Security Analyst Intern. This entry-level internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of cybersecurity, including threat hunting, policy review, infrastructure security, and more. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals across different teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of our security operations and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Shadow our Enterprise Technology team to understand user and application provisioning processes.
• Shadow our Cloud & DevOps team to learn about the infrastructure and coding of customer-facing applications.
• Collaborate with our compliance team to gain insights into internal audit functions and processes.
• Assist in reviewing all security policies to identify gaps and propose recommendations.
• Participate in internal audits and access reviews.
• Conduct vendor security reviews.
• Review customer contracts to identify deviations from standard security commitments.
• Assist in performing active threat hunting.
• Conduct phishing tests to identify vulnerabilities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in learning various aspects of cybersecurity, including threat detection, policy development, and auditing.
• Basic knowledge of security tools and frameworks is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and independently on assigned projects.
