We are seeking an experienced Remote SEO Manager to lead and execute high-impact SEO strategies across multiple client projects. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of proven experience in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, with a strong understanding of modern ranking factors and Google algorithm updates.

This role also includes managing and mentoring a small SEO/content team to ensure consistent quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute customized SEO strategies based on each client’s goals, industry, and competitive landscape.
  • Perform in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits to uncover growth opportunities.

On-Page Optimization

  • Optimize website structure, metadata, internal linking, headings, and content for improved rankings and user intent alignment.
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all content production.

Off-Page & Authority Building

  • Build high-quality, relevant backlinks through strategic outreach, content marketing, and partnerships.
  • Monitor link profile health and identify opportunities for authority growth.

Technical SEO

  • Conduct technical audits to identify issues related to crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, site speed, schema markup, and mobile optimization.
  • Work with developers to implement fixes and improvements.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
  • Create clear, data-driven reports showcasing rankings, traffic, conversions, and ROI.
  • Continuously refine strategies based on analytics insights and algorithm trends.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Manage, mentor, and guide a small SEO/content team (writers, SEO executives, link builders).
  • Set weekly tasks, KPIs, and performance expectations for team members.
  • Review team work for quality, accuracy, and SEO best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve team capabilities.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between SEO, content, design, and development teams.

Continuous Learning

  • Stay updated on Google algorithm updates, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Suggest innovative ideas, tools, and experiments to improve SEO performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.
