About Us

We are a growing construction company expanding our footprint in the Rio Grande Valley with a new satellite office. Our team is dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality construction projects while supporting career growth and teamwork. We are seeking a Remote Superintendent who will serve as the company’s eyes and ears on active sites, ensuring projects are progressing smoothly under the directives of the Project Manager.

Position Overview

The Remote Superintendent is responsible for traveling between project sites throughout the Rio Grande Valley to oversee daily operations, enforce safety standards, monitor progress, and support successful project delivery. This role works closely with Project Managers, Project Success Specialists, and site crews to ensure quality workmanship, adherence to schedules, and compliance with construction standards.

As a field leader, the Superintendent ensures that company policies, industry standards, and client expectations are consistently met across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to multiple project sites to monitor progress and compliance.
  • Ensure field crews and subcontractors are working safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety regulations on all sites.
  • Report site progress, challenges, and needs directly to the Project Manager.
  • Assist with coordinating labor, equipment, and materials as needed.
  • Inspect work for compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Help resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays.
  • Maintain strong relationships with crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure deadlines and milestones are met in alignment with project schedules.
  • Act as a field liaison for leadership, keeping communication clear and consistent.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of construction field supervision experience (Superintendent, Foreman, or equivalent role).
  • Education/Certifications: High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience preferred. OSHA certification a plus.
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel daily between project sites.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
  • Other: Must pass a drug test, background check, and provide verifiable employment references.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.87 - $27.55 per hour
