Remote YouTube Video Editor (Long-Form + Shorts)

About Us:
We are a growing digital content agency focused on producing high-quality YouTube videos and short-form content for creators across multiple niches. We’re looking for a talented Remote Video Editor who understands YouTube pacing, retention, storytelling, and modern editing styles.

Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–15 minutes)
• Edit short-form vertical content (Shorts, Reels, TikTok)
• Add captions, transitions, zooms, sound design & B-roll
• Improve pacing and storytelling flow
• Deliver clean, organized project files
• Follow brand guidelines and reference styles
• Meet deadlines consistently (48–72 hour turnaround per video)

Requirements:

• Strong experience in YouTube-style editing
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Ability to add text overlays, motion graphics & simple animations
• Understanding of pacing, hook creation, and audience retention
• Good sense of music selection, SFX, color correction & audio cleanup
• Reliable internet connection and ability to communicate clearly
• Ability to take feedback and revise quickly

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience editing for YouTube content creators
• Knowledge of YouTube algorithm and watch-time optimization
• Ability to create CTR-optimized thumbnails
