Our removable department creates complete dentures, partial dentures, flexible partials, surgical guides, and implant-supported prosthetics using a blend of modern dental technology and traditional craftsmanship.

What You'll Do

As a Removable Technician, you’ll be responsible for fabricating and finishing a wide range of removable prosthetics, including:

Denture & Partial Fabrication

• Fabricate complete dentures and partial dentures
• Select and arrange denture teeth based on doctor prescriptions
• Create anatomical wax-ups for denture bases
• Process dentures using pour, press-pack, injection, or microwave techniques
• Remount dentures for equilibration and occlusal adjustments

Case Setup & Model Work

• Evaluate impressions and determine appropriate custom tray design
• Fabricate custom trays
• Create master casts
• Build baseplates and bite rims
• Articulate cases using doctor bite registrations

Partial Denture Design

• Survey models and design removable partial frameworks
• Identify connectors, rests, retainers, and attachments
• Block out and duplicate models for flexible partials (Valplast/Duraflex)

Finishing & Repairs

• Finish and polish dentures for optimal fit and appearance
• Perform denture repairs including:
• Tooth additions
• Relines and rebases
• Denture duplication
• Immediate dentures
• Weld or solder framework repairs when necessary

Additional Appliances

• Fabricate night guards and removable appliances
• Assist with fabrication of surgical stents for implant procedures

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 2+ years removable dental laboratory experience preferred
• Experience with dentures, partials, or removable appliances

Skills

• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Solid understanding of dental anatomy and occlusion
• Ability to interpret dental prescriptions
• Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and organized with strong time management

Bonus Experience

• CDT certification in removable prosthetics
• Experience with flexible partials
• Experience with denture repairs and relines
