Repair Technician / Customer Service / Sales — CPR Cell Phone Repair

CPR Cell Phone Repair is hiring a full-time team member for our Eugene location. This is a hybrid role — you'll split your time between the repair bench and the front counter, so we're looking for someone who's equally comfortable fixing devices and talking with customers.

About the Role

No two days look the same. You'll diagnose and repair phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics, but you'll also greet customers, write up tickets, sell accessories, and help close sales on repairs and trade-ins. We're open to training the right entry-level candidate, but experienced techs with customer-facing skills are preferred.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair phones, tablets, and other devices
• Greet customers, write up repair tickets, and clearly explain repair options and pricing
• Sell accessories, screen protectors, and trade-ins
• Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries
• Test devices before and after repair to confirm quality
• Keep the workbench, sales floor, and parts inventory organized
• Help with store opens, closes, and day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For

• Strong manual dexterity and comfort working with small components
• Patience and attention to detail — repairs need to be done right, not just done
• Genuine customer service skills — friendly, calm under pressure, and able to de-escalate when things get tense
• Comfort with light sales (no high-pressure tactics; we focus on honest recommendations)
• Reliable attendance and a team-first attitude
• Prior phone, tablet, or electronics repair experience preferred
• HDMI port or microsoldering experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to pass a background check

Pay

$17/hr base, plus commission with realistic earnings up to $20/hr depending on performance.

Schedule

Full-time. Store hours are Monday–Friday 9 AM–7 PM, Saturday 10 AM–6 PM, and Sunday 10 AM–5 PM. Weekend availability (both Saturday and Sunday) is required for this position.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
