Tayaba Organization is a registered non-profit organization working across Pakistan to improve access to safe water, sanitation, and climate-resilient infrastructure for underserved and vulnerable communities. Tayaba implements innovative, scalable solutions under its H2O portfolio, addressing both water scarcity and climate challenges.
1.1 H2O Solar
H2O Solar is Tayaba’s solar-powered water facility model designed to provide reliable, affordable, and climate-resilient access to safe drinking water. These facilities use renewable solar energy to operate water extraction, filtration, and dispensing systems, particularly in areas affected by electricity shortages, high energy costs, and climate vulnerability.
H2O Solar facilities reduce operational costs, ensure uninterrupted service, and contribute to environmental sustainability by lowering carbon emissions.

2. Purpose of the RFP
This RFP invites eligible non-profit organizations, CSOs, and social enterprises across Pakistan to apply for selection as Implementation Partner(s) for the deployment, community engagement, and operational support of H2O Solar water facilities under Tayaba’s safe water and climate resilience programming.
3. Scope of Work
The selected Implementation Partner(s) shall be responsible for the following:
3.1 Site Identification & Community Engagement
Support identification of suitable sites in coordination with Tayaba and local stakeholders
Conduct community consultations and obtain community consent
Facilitate formation or engagement of local water committees (where applicable)
3.2 On-Ground Implementation
Support civil works, plumbing, and site readiness for H2O Solar facilities
Coordinate with Tayaba-approved technical or solar vendors (if applicable)
Ensure proper installation support and readiness for commissioning
3.3 Operations & Maintenance
Day-to-day operation of H2O Solar facilities during the agreed implementation period
Routine maintenance and minor repairs
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and uninterrupted service
3.4 Monitoring, Evaluation & Visibility
Full compliance with Tayaba’s Monitoring & Evaluation framework
Collection of operational data (uptime, water produced, users served)
Prominent display of Tayaba branding and donor visibility at sites
3.5 Reporting & Documentation
The partner shall provide Tayaba with:
Site profiles and beneficiary estimates
Geo-tagged photographic and video documentation
Monthly progress and operational reports
Beneficiary feedback and community testimonials
Final implementation report upon completion
4. Eligibility Criteria
Applicant organizations must:
Be registered non-profit organizations, CSOs, or social enterprises in Pakistan
Demonstrate experience in WASH, water infrastructure, renewable energy, or community development
Have operational presence or capacity in rural or underserved areas
Maintain transparent financial management and reporting systems
Demonstrate ability to coordinate field teams and community stakeholders
5. Proposal Submission Requirements
Interested organizations must submit a proposal including:
Organizational profile and registration documents
Relevant experience and summaries of past projects
Proposed geographic focus areas
Implementation methodology and timeline
Operations and maintenance approach
Risk mitigation and community engagement strategy

Step 2: Proposal Submission
In addition to completing the online form, applicants must submit a detailed proposal via email. The proposal must include:
Clearly explained and itemized costs/budget
Details of proposed vendors or technical partners (if applicable)
Projected impact estimates, including but not limited to:
Target number of people to be served
Estimated total daily water output (in liters)
Expected operational coverage and uptime
Proposed geographic focus areas
Implementation timeline and operational approach
