Carry out accurate quantity take-offs and material calculations for construction activities.

Review project drawings and specifications to determine project requirements and estimate costs precisely.

Prepare cost estimates for new projects, modifications, and additional scope works.
Cost Planning & Budget Management

Develop detailed project budgets and cost plans.

Perform rate analysis and prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and subcontract works.
-
Monitor project expenses and compare actual costs against approved budgets.
-
Prepare cost reports and provide recommendations to improve project efficiency and profitability.
Tendering & Procurement Support

Manage the tendering process by floating enquiries, obtaining quotations, and preparing bid comparison reports.

Evaluate supplier and subcontractor proposals based on technical and commercial requirements.

Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery of materials and services.

Participate in vendor negotiations and support finalization activities.
Commercial & Contract Management

Prepare and review contracts, work orders, purchase orders, and related commercial documents.

Review contractor invoices, variation orders, and claims for additional works.

Ensure all commercial activities comply with company standards and contractual obligations.

Provide commercial insights and support management in project planning and decision-making.
Project Coordination & Reporting

Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, procurement teams, and finance departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Maintain estimation records, project cost reports, MIS reports, and commercial documentation.

Track project progress and provide regular updates on budgets, forecasts, and cost performance.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Requirements

Strong experience in
BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, construction estimation, and cost control
.

Excellent understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications.

Good knowledge of contracts, tendering procedures, procurement processes, and commercial management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
-
Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, estimation software, and project management tools.

Ability to work independently and perform effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
