Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management systems across engineering projects.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, hazard identification (HAZID), and job safety analyses (JSA) to proactively mitigate workplace hazards.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents, near misses, and safety non-conformances to develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including Omani regulatory standards and international frameworks such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs for project teams, contractors, and site personnel to promote a strong safety culture.
Manage and maintain HSE documentation, including permits to work, safety plans, emergency response plans, and audit records.
Utilize SAP-NetWeaver AS to manage HSE data, track KPIs, report incidents, and generate compliance dashboards.
Support project planning by integrating HSE considerations into project timelines, budgets, and execution strategies.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walkthroughs to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and management teams to embed safety into design, construction, and commissioning phases.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
Valid NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) with proven experience in industrial HSE environments.
5–10 years of progressive experience in HSE engineering or safety management within large-scale engineering or industrial projects.
Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis techniques
Strong project planning and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple HSE initiatives simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of SAP-NetWeaver AS for HSE data management, reporting, and compliance tracking.
Familiarity with Omani labor laws, environmental regulations, and industrial safety standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams within fast-paced, high-risk environments.
Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) qualification is desirable but not mandatory; relevant professional certifications in safety or health management are preferred.
