Lead the development, negotiation, and management of subcontract agreements with vendors and third-party service providers.
Conduct due diligence on potential subcontractors, including financial stability, compliance, and performance history assessments.
Ensure all subcontracting activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Monitor subcontractor performance through KPIs, delivery timelines, quality standards, and safety compliance.
Coordinate with project, procurement, and operations teams to align subcontracting plans with project schedules and budgets.
Manage contract variations, claims, and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of all subcontracting documentation, including contracts, change orders, and performance reports.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and supplier consolidation.
Facilitate regular performance reviews and feedback sessions with key subcontractors.
Support audits and internal/external compliance checks related to subcontracting activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
5–10 years of progressive experience in subcontract management, procurement, or contract administration within industrial/manufacturing environments.
Proven track record in managing high-value subcontract agreements and vendor performance.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in contract lifecycle management, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with ERP systems and contract management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
Knowledge of Indian contract law, GST regulations, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with attention to detail.
