Summary: The Plant Supervisor (Hull & Machinery) plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of marine plant equipment, vessel machinery, and hull systems within shipyard and offshore environments. This position requires a technically proficient leader who oversees daily maintenance activities, drives preventive maintenance programs, and ensures compliance with safety and operational standards. The supervisor is responsible for leading teams, coordinating complex maintenance projects, and supporting continuous improvement in performance and reliability across marine operations.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise maintenance and repair activities for hull and machinery systems
• Ensure marine plant equipment and vessel machinery operate efficiently
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and technical inspections
• Support troubleshooting and repair of engines, pumps, generators, hydraulic systems, and other marine equipment
• Monitor shipyard and offshore operational activities to maintain safety and productivity
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operational teams for seamless project execution
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and operational documentation
• Ensure all work complies with marine safety standards and company procedures
• Assist in planning maintenance activities and enhancing operational performance
Requirements
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in marine engineering, offshore operations, drydock projects, or shipyard maintenance
• In-depth knowledge of marine machinery, hull systems, and vessel operations
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
