Summary: The Procurement & Logistics Manager / Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of offshore and engineering projects by overseeing end-to-end procurement and logistics operations. This position is essential for maintaining project timelines, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and delivering cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with documentation and inventory requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement activities for offshore and marine projects
• Source materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers
• Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival of materials
• Handle shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and logistics tracking
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers
• Collaborate with project and operations teams to meet procurement deadlines
• Ensure all procurement and logistics processes are efficient, compliant, and cost-effective
Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement and logistics operations
• Prior experience in offshore, marine, oil & gas, engineering, or contracting industries is highly advantageous
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures and supply chain management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications is preferred
