R&D Laboratory Technician – Plant Based Products

Role Overview

We are a plant-based product company seeking an R&D Laboratory Technician to support sample creation, product development, and regulatory documentation. This role is post-extraction focused and does not involve cultivation or extraction operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in product sample creation using hemp based material, isolates, distillates and terpenes
• Support development of vapeable, ingestible and inhalable product formulations
• Prepare samples for third-party laboratory testing
• Review testing results and assist with COA documentation
• Maintain accurate batch records and lab documentation
• Assist in writing, refining, and implementing SOPs for R&D and production
• Work with lab and production equipment, including microscales, vacuum ovens, and mixing systems
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment

Required Experience

• 1–3 years’ experience in hemp/cannibas based testing laboratory
• Understanding of HPLC and GC testing workflows
• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Comfort working with hemp/cannabis materials, distillates, isolates, and terpenes
• Experience handling and preparing samples for testing
• Proficient in Google Sheets, Google Workspace

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with vaporizer, edible, or inhaling formulations
• Exposure to nano-emulsion systems
• Experience working under cGMP or similar regulated environments

Compensation

$26–$32 per hour

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
