Job description

The Research Assistant will support the establishment and operation of a Soil Health Field Laboratory under the TAG Sustainable Agriculture and Livelihood initiative at the Amrita School for Sustainable Futures, Amritapuri.

The position focuses on field-based soil health assessment, laboratory analysis, data management, and community-oriented sustainable agriculture research.

Responsibilities

Assist in the setup and development of the Soil Health Field Laboratory.

Support soil testing before and after field interventions

Maintain accurate records and databases of soil test results, field observations, and experimental metadata.

Assist in documentation and reporting, including preparation of field reports, progress notes, photographs, and technical summaries.
