Position Summary

The research assistant will focus on the S- ITEST research study. This study uses a crowdsourced approach to promote HIV self-testing among Nigerian youth (14-24 years old). This will include helping with study design, data analysis, writing manuscripts, developing infographics and short videos, and liaising with partners at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research and Washington University. The RA will be a part of the UNC S- ITEST study team, including Dr. Suzanne Day, Dr. Weiming Tang, Dr. Nora Rosenberg, and Dr. Joseph Tucker. There will also be opportunities for professional development and attending HIV conferences.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Management Preferences

The ability to write well and communicate effectively with the study team

Interest in medical and/or public health research
