Job Summary/Objective:
Summit Pointe is the Community Mental Health Service Program (CMHSP) for Calhoun County, Michigan. As a CMHSP, Summit Pointe provides support and services to individuals with Medicaid and those who are uninsured, addressing a wide range of behavioral, developmental, and mental health needs. These services include psychological and clinical counseling, substance use disorder treatment, crisis intervention, case management, autism services, and moreIn addition, Summit Pointe serves as the designated Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) for Calhoun County, expanding access to behavioral health services for all residents, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
The CCBHC Research Assistant will work collaboratively with Summit Pointe's CCBHC Program Manager and interdisciplinary team to engage eligible individuals in completing CCBHC outcome and evaluation assessments and assist with associated reporting requirements.
The Research Assistant's primary responsibilities include managing recruitment of CCBHC eligible customers, baseline intakes and reassessments, and referrals for care coordination. The Research Assistant is also responsible for supporting the CCBHC managers with all reporting requirements, tracking reporting deadlines, monitoring the data quality measures and submitting some reports to the State of Michigan.
